An Eastern dream between sky and city
High above Paris, on the rooftop of the Institut du Monde Arabe, a door opens onto Mima’s home.
Born from a dream by Jamel Debbouze and a tribute to his mother Fatima, Dar Mima tells a story of family, heritage and hospitality. Suspended above Paris, it is a place where fragrant spices, treasured recipes and the warmth of generous shared tables invite guests to travel without ever leaving the city.
Here, the East meets Paris. And the house welcomes you with open arms.

Everything brings me back to you, Mima
Dar Mima was born from a love story. The love Jamel Debbouze has for his mother, Fatima, affectionately known as Mima, and for everything she passed on to him: a taste for sharing, generous gestures, and those family recipes prepared without ever really measuring.
Together with Laurent de Gourcuff, he imagined a house open to Paris, yet rooted in memory. A place where Mima’s dishes meet Laura Gonzalez’s imagination, in a setting of zellige tiles, carved wood, frescoes and soft lighting.
More than a restaurant, Dar Mima is a living tribute. A heartfelt home set high above the rooftops of Paris.

A cuisine made for sharing, between Paris and the Mediterranean
At Mima’s table, no one ever cooks only for themselves.
Hummus, pastilla, tajine, couscous, wood-fired grills and fragrant pastries come together in a sun-filled, generous and cross-cultural Arab cuisine. From the Maghreb to the Levant, influences meet through family recipes, carefully chosen spices and generous dishes made to be shared.
Plates arrive at the centre of the table, hands reach out and dishes are passed around. Because at Dar Mima, every flavour begins with the pleasure of welcoming others.

SAMA Rooftop, Paris under the open sky
As the sun begins to set, Dar Mima slowly changes its light.
Cocktails are infused with herbs, flowers and spices, mint tea returns to its ritual, and conversations begin to linger. Then, during the warmer months, SAMA Rooftop opens an even higher escape above the rooftops of Paris.
Sunsets, Afro House and soulful DJ sets, glasses raised to the sky: the night begins gently before giving way to celebration.

Your events, above the rooftops of Paris
A private dinner, a cocktail overlooking Paris, a celebration or a corporate event: Dar Mima welcomes every occasion with the same generosity.
The restaurant, Mediterranean terrace and SAMA Rooftop offer a setting suspended above the Seine, blending precious materials, lush greenery and sweeping views over Paris.
A unique house in which to gather, celebrate and create memories that linger long after the moment has passed.
